Students

You can be a hero! Even if you’re not old enough to donate blood you can still save lives by asking your parents, family members and older friends to donate blood. You can even earn a cool recognition certificate by creating your own youth service project.

Ask your teacher to offer lessons about saving lives in your community with the Be a Hero program and the Partnership with Youth program.

Attention High School students! Does your school sponsor blood drives? If not, why not start one up! Click here for information on how to coordinate a High School Blood Drive! .

If you already coordinate a school blood drive, share your creative ideas on how you recruit student donors, click here to share your ideas. Visit the My Blood, your Blood web site to learn more about the blood circulating in your body!
